This “super graphic” installation, a combination of information dense and visually appealing graphics, will be exhibited for six months on Water Street, in the bus stop in front of the University of Wisconsin--Eau Claire’s Haas Fine Arts building. The title Residually Green lends itself to the nature by which this piece is experienced given the concept of a bus stop; Occupants remain for a brief moment, absorb information, and go on their way. In using the transit system, there is time for the installation viewer to think over the information they just experienced while they ride. The intention of this piece is to make that transit user, someone currently reducing their carbon footprint, more knowledgeable of renewable energy and current energy situations, relying on them for community dissemination of the information.
The revolution of environmental understanding will change the way we think, believe, and breath in the future but needs to start with sharing ideas and supporting the group effort now. I look forward to working with you in the near future.
Thank you for your time,
